Upgrading

brew upgrade cadrei, or run install.sh again. The next cadrei runs the full health check and rewrites ~/.cadrei/framework. Running members keep the old protocol until they restart (cadrei stop, then let your orchestrator start them again; chats resume). Read the CHANGELOG for anything to know.

Coming from 0.2.0, there’s nothing to do: on its first run, 0.2.1 moves each crew’s project places and orchestrator chat record from ~/.cadrei/config into the crew’s .claude/local/, adds that folder to the crew’s .gitignore, and says so once.

Want to try a new version fresh, the way a brand-new user sees it, and keep your setup? Run cadrei uninstall --archive before you upgrade, then upgrade and run cadrei. When you’re done trying, bring your setup back.
